dang aftermarket tachometer

the new tach i put on my 560 d lasted about 100 hours seems like i remember a post on here about the afterrmarket tachs not being up to snuff havent looked for a oem yet almost scared to where do you guys shop for stuff like that

Terry, if you still have the original OEM tach that obviously quit working for some reason there is a place that repairs and restores them. They will not accept an aftermarket one, however, for repair. The name of the company is Metro Speedometer & Electric, LLC. in Independence, MO. Their phone number is (816)478-0116 and website is [email protected]. I have no association with this firm but have seen their ads in Red Power Magazine for a long time.
As far as a new OEM tach CaseIH might still offer them along with some of the folks who deal in NOS parts. Probably most if not all aftermarket ones are going to perform like yours. Good luck, Hal.

thanks guys i'm pretty sure this tach came from oem, looks identical to the ones everyone else sells. i dont have the original tach but i think i can get my hands on one
