Farmall M Hyd control rod

Can someone give me the measurements of a control rod for a Farmall M. I can"t find one. I have one from a H but it is too short so I am going to lengthen it but I don"t know how much it needs.. Thanks Steve

My rod measures 34 1/2 inches from where it hooks to the control arm, up to the lower edge of the little nub that holds it in the neutral position.

From the lower edge of the nub, it's another 4 3/4 inches up to the lower edge of the round "handle" you grab to pull on.
