79' 184 Cub smoke out the oil fill ?

I noticed when i was mowing with my 184 cub lo-boy that it is smoking out the oil fill cap ?
is this common ? or is there anything wrong ?
The tractor is full of oil and it is not over full.
I noticed it is manly when the tractor is under a load, like when mowing, or when i throttle up the engine, it puts out a little.
Thanks for any info

Define "smoking." Color? How much?

The oil filler cap is also the crankcase breather, so something is going to come out there. Depends on what it is whether it's a problem.

Your engine probably has some blowby, exhaust gases squeezing past the piston rings. Any engine with some wear will have some blowby.

Small puffs of smoke when the engine is under heavy load is normal.

If it's billowing out a smoke screen, you've got a problem. Badly worn rings that aren't sealing anymore.

It's only a little puff ones in a while, it's not rolling it out or anything.
The smoke is the color of burning oil, i don't think the ol tractor burns very much, and i have never noticed it blowing any oil.
Thanks for the info, i will keep a eye on it next time i mow.

Sounds pretty normal. It's also burning off condensation created over the winter while in storage, and those times you run it a short time and don't get it very hot.
