79' International cub 184 smoking out the oil fill ?

I noticed when i was mowing with my 184 cub lo-boy that it is smoking out the oil fill cap ?
is this common ? or is there anything wrong ?
The tractor is full of oil and it is not over full.
I noticed it is manly when the tractor is under a load, like when mowing, or when i throttle up the engine, it puts out a little.
The oil light isn't coming on and yes the light does work.
Thanks for any info

This is common. What is happening is called blow by. As an
engine wears, the piston rings wear enough to allow
compression and exhaust to leak by. Thus the pressure fills
the crankcase and exits through the dipstick breather. This
was standard practice until recirculating valves were installed
later. I would not worry too much about it. If it really bothers
you, do a compression test and check against factory specs.
Hope this helps. A.P.
