oil pressure on 574

I can't find the proper engine oil pressure for our 574 with the D-239 engine. There is no listing in either the operators book or the service manual.
It seems to drop off when warmed up more than usual. Thought if I got a pressure figure I could plumb a gage reading pounds in and check it.

From IH Service manual GSS-1377-I

Oil pressure - at gallery (hot oil) - minimum psi

Idler speed. . . . . . . . . . 8
Rated speed. . . . . 40 - 60

Hi Cat Guy, check the crankcase oil for Diesel fuel.
First indication of leaking drive shaft seal on injection pump is low oil pressure when warm and crankcase oil level going up.

Thanks Owen. That sounds low on the idle speed though.
Jimb2 The oil level is not going up, just the pressure is dropping when warm. The tractor has probably 10,000 hours on it, and had bearings polled in it about 20 years ago with sleeves.
I wouldn't be surprised to find it needs cam bearings along with a new oil pump.

Thanks for the help.

Those are minimum pressures.

I think "Idler speed" is a result of the German translation and the English proof readers missed it before the manual was printed.
