Gentlemen,
Long time reader, always enjoyed the wealth of knowledge & experience in this forum. My question is on multi spool valves. I have an 856 and intend to add power beyond. This will be for a loader and perhaps an aftermarket 3 pt. I have been looking at Prince, Cross, and Chief 2 & 3 spool models. Does anyone have a preference? Personally I like how tight the handles are on the Chief but maybe it isnt an issue. Appreciate any input, thanks..

Unless made obviously poorly, they will all work.
I also like the idea of the quality feel of tight
handles. Look at the Warranty, and ask about
warranty coverage if a leak or breakage happens.

Chief advertises as a global company and gave no
US address other than sales
Both the other companies are US based, but I do
not know where the products are made. Cross is
hiring plant workers in the US. Jim

I am a little biased but I like Prince. They are made in the USA here in the corners of Iowa, South Dakota, and Nebraska. They have a reputation for very good quality products, and have been around for quite a while. I don't know anything about the others.
