Top Link question

Why does my 385 and similar tractors 485, 585, have two holes(upper and lower) on the tractor for the top link, does it have anything to do with the draft control??????

Thanks for the reply, I guess that could be it just looks like it could be a draft control issue but the manual dosn't say anything.

on fords with toplink sensing, there are multiple holes. In that case, closer to top is for light loads and closer to bottom is for heavy draft like plowing. Basically the hole that would give the most movement of the draft mechanism is for light loads/quicker reaction and the hole that gives the least movement would be for heavy loads.
look at your setup and see which hole is suitable for your intended use.
