Farmall Regular on ebay

I saw a Farmall Regular sell on ebay.

The description says the engine is stuck, but it looks pretty good otherwise. Is that about the going price for a Regular on steel with a stuck engine?

i thought it was about 500 higher than what it should have brought. loose engine and that would have been ball park.

the fenders wer a plus, but he said somehting was cut off on the bottom of them but couldnt see anything in the pictures

Had that one in my watch list! Probably not too far off. I would like to have seen it turn over though. Looked to be in good shape. I'm sure the fenders added a lot to the price. And the steel wheels are nice to have too! The rears look like Allis WC wheels though.
I'll bet one cutoffs without fenders would bring about half of that.

I was watching it too. Had the high bid all week. The fender irons had been torched off where they came off another tractor, probably an easy fix. He'd broke something on the carburetor catching it on a post when the pulled it out of the barn, (no pics to verify extent) He said it had been stored inside and the stickage was from a mouse nest. But they had towed it trying to un-stick it. I could have used the front wheels but didn't need the rears. I can buy new fenders for $365 and make brackets. I have a 1928 Regular with that style rear wheels (no fronts) that is NOT stuck. I'd rather put my money in it.
