I purchased a 560 Diesel this past fall. It needs some TLC before it goes to the field in the spring. Both axle seals seem to be leaking and I can sometimes hear some poping noise from the right side. I was wondering if the outer bearing can be checked and replaced without pulling the axle? I think that I read somewhere that I can change the seal at least.
Thanks!
TJ

You can change the seal without removing the axle, but because the bearing is a tight fit on the axle, you will have to remove it to get the bearing off.

Check the lugs holding the rim to the wheel. Look for signs of movement, and put a wrench on them

If you have a loose lug, it can sound like an axle bearing going bad, even if it's only slightly loose.
