9 bolt rims

My 656 has pressed steel 9-bolt rims on the rear. 14” x 34” size. Are 9-bolt rims a standard bolt pattern and center hole size? I'd like to find some 38” rims for 18.4 tires that would fit the same hubs. How hard is that going to be?

We used to put 15.5-38 9-bolt duals on a 806 with 18.4-34's on the inside until we found a set of 18.4-34's.

Last I checked, 38" 9-bolt rims in several widths are still made by Unverferth and a few other companies. Used ones should be easy finds at any salvage yard in the midwest. I think you can buy a center and weld it into a plain or double-bevel rim, too.

It wouldn't suprise me if there are some 9-bolt wheels with oddball centers out there, but they wouldn't be all that common. Take measurements if you're not sure.

Your 656 will fly down the road with 18.4-38's.

Please reconsider if the intention is to use this tractor in the field. It will be way too fast and totally gutless with 18.4x38's.

Of course if this thing is cranked up and going down the track in front of a sled, then have at it!!!
