Fast Hitch verses 3 point on a Super C

I know the fast hitch is really strong and will lift all the C will handle .
I was wondring about some of the aftermarket 3 points I have seen in the past that operate with the 2 rods attached to the lift all arms (touch control).
I wonder if anyone can offer a comment that has used or is using one now on a Super C.

We had a 200 with a "2-Point Hitch". My Uncle and Grandfather had an SC with no special rear hitch until they installed an after market 3-point so that my grandfather could operate a scrape blade to level his pond dam. That was in the 1960,s and it is still on the same tractor now and my uncle used it to plow, harrow, plant with a Pittsburgh frame, cultivate with a Pittsburgh frame, and operate a cutter/shredder. Understand that 2-point implements are somewhat hard to find now.

IF you can find three poin implements ity's a hand down no brainer, the QH is the way to go, we also have the adapter breacket for a top link bolted on ours and use the 3pt adapter arms...lil less hand to hook up but still ahead of an after market 3 pt. That having been said, we have a saginal valley 3pt on a JD A and it's a great 3pt...so preference I guess!

I converted my QH to 3P only because QH implements are nearly impossible to find around here.

My personal opinion is if your SC already has the Fast-Hitch, it's worth the effort to at least try to find the F-H implements. If you don't already have it, just finding the complete F-H setup for the tractor will probably not be easy and the 3 point setup plus the ease of finding implements would be the way to go. There are also Fast-Hitch to 3 point adaptors that might work for you... one that is all one piece and has an upside-down U bracket with hooks instead of balls for the lower links and used a short top link (I believe this was an IH factory adaptor), and others that had two lower pieces with the swivel balls and a separate bracket for a standard top link.
I used F-H implements on a SC while in high school (1956 thru '60) and had no problems with any of them... we had a 2x14" plow, 7' tandem disk, 7' mower, rear section of a cultivator and a Carry-All that were Fast-Hitch. Properly parked, these could just be backed into and picked up... no getting off the tractor, which as a kid, I thought was pretty cool.

I have tried two different kinds of three point hitches that worked off the touch control block on my SC. Took the first one off and sold it on E-bay. Still have the second one but not really happy with it either. Limited lift capacity and range. Be better off with the type that uses a cylinder. Now I hope to convert a 230 with worn fast-hitch to a three point using the lift cylinder and factory valve.
