need oil capacity for C for manual notes

I always jot down important bits of info on the inside cover of my manual, things like gasket & filter & seals numbers,.. etc.. and oil quantities.

On the trans/diff I failed to note how much I poured in before it came up at the check plug.

anyone got a # for me?

I-T manual says 19qts if I read it right but I do not have my glasses handy so the 9 could be wrong as in could be an 8 but think I see it right at 19

Engine oil is 5 qts per IH manual. Just by chance I have a scanned copy (pdf) on CD here in my office. Must have had a lot of time on my hands at the time, but then again my manual is getting pretty worn, and this allows me to print off pages I need.

Disregard my prev. post....I thought you were looking for crankcase....Trans case with belt pulley and power take off is 5 gallons. 4.77 gal if not equipped with pulley/pto.
