IH 385 Hood decals

Still unable to find parts #s 1287943C1 and 1287944C1, right and left hood decals for International Harvester produced 385 tractor. NLA from dealer anyone have a clue????????????

I don't know where you are located but you might try Steve Smith in Mayfield KY. 270-247-2219. He runs a tire store and tractor repair shop, (Smith Tire & Tractor Repair) and IH salvage yard. He is about the largest seller of new,used and aftermarket IH tractor parts in this aera. He ships nation wide. I do know he carries several IH decal.

Also you might try Bates Corporation in Bourbon IN. 1-800-248-2955 or go to there web site. I can not find any info on just the IH 385 just the CIH 385 that was manufactured in Doncaster England using a German D155 engine. I am guessing the same tractor just different paint and decals.

Yes you are correct, I wish I had known they were NLA. I would have taped the old ones. But I looked on Messick's site and they had a price next to the part number, so I thought they were available.But if push comes to shove I can get a set for a 1086 or 986 and use the INTERNATIONAL part of that one and trim the number designation off.But I am stuck on not using CASE IH decals. They broke my heart in 1985 with the buyout of IH and I am just beginging to recover.
