I want to change oil in the touch control on my C farmall. Do i need to use HY TRAN or is any good hydraulic oil good enough? thanks Jim.

what about a utf meeting the hytran standard. that's what i plan on putting in mine.

I use UTF in mine and it works just fine.

When IH first invented the system, the recommendation was SAE 10 motor oil -- so it is not sophisticated. You can use any universal trans/hyd oil that meets hytran specs.

any decent quailty hydraulic oil is just fine. I run Napa in all my systems.

Thanks guys, the reason i asked, is because the owners manual says to use I H touch control fluid and i knew they probably didnt have such a thing any more. Jim
