Show/Pull in MA this weekend

There's going to be an antique tractor show & pull this weekend (Oct 1&2) at Waters Farm in Sutton MA.

It's part of the annual Waters Farm "Farm Days" event. It's a small, family event. Food, vendors, live music. www.watersfarm.com

I'll be there with our local 4H club. The kids will have their animals on display, along with some of the equipment we use for haying, etc.

If anybody happens to be in the area and looking for something to do, we would certainly appreciate your support.

Does Butch still do the pulls? I think it was Butch anyways...i remember he did the pulls at Bangma"s farm in uxbridge. He had kind of a wild kid who used to beat the bajeezus out of an old JD B. If i hadnt already promised a friend i"d do crowd control at his pick your own orchard this weekend i would go.

Not sure who Butch is, he may or may not still be involved, but I'm pretty sure Glenn King is running it this year.

I don't pull, so I don't know too many details.

I do know some of the guys from the Old SOMETHING tractor club in CT are supposed to come up and have some tractors on display, in addition to the pulling. So that should be good. (if I type their club's full name in, it won't let me post!!! I don't know what they did, but they must have ------ somebody off!!!)

Too bad you can't make it.

My fingers are crossed, hoping we get a repeat of today's weather. Most of the funding for our 4H club comes from what we earn at this one event (and that aint much!).
