I was shredding some small brush with a pull type shredder and the PTO engaged and disengaged normally then when I tried to disengage it I can't move the lever at all. I even tried tapping on the lever a little with a hammer but still no disengagement. What should I look for and how hard is it to take it out and look at everything.

Be sure there is no tension on the PTO shaft. If there are weeds or other trach stuck in the blades, the PTO might jamb. It can be taken out easily, But putting the tractor front wheels 18 inches below the rear will keep the oil in it! Jim
