Took head and Oil pan off. It seems to be locked tight Also found 3 bent push rods and found one cracked piston. Any ideas on what could have happened to it. It has about 500 hours on it and has been sitting for a long time. The rest of the tractor is real nice. Also any ideas on where I can get parts at look to need just one piston and need at least 3 push rods, It it still locked up . I guess I need to pull the roda caps next. Thanks for any input.

It was probably left sitting outside and rusted a cylinder to the piston. It may have been stopped with 2 pistons near the top of the stroke. When this happens, and some one trys to pull it with another tractor to get it unstuck, they can crack pistons and break rods. It may have actually turned, in which valves stuck closed would not open causing the pushrods to bend. A total disassembly and rebuild is probably a good idea. An expert looking at it could sure tell more than this distance learning approach, but broken pistons are usually an indication of dramatic internal events. Jim
