544 flywheel

I have a 544 diesel with gear drive. Looking for a flywheel for it. Wanted to see if there is anywhere other than a dealer to get it as they want about $1100. I have looked online without any luck so far. Thanks for any help.

Clutch went so we split the tractor. Get to the flywheel and there are cracks in it that go all the way through. Maybe 6 or 8 little cracks. Ive been looking all over online trying to find one and it seems they are readily available for a lot of tractors except the 544 gear drive diesel. Ive found the flywheel for the hydro model but im pretty sure its different.

Ive been looking for one for about six months and can not find one, my local dealer said they can"t get a new one, and every where i look or call when i say 544 all i hear is no, right now if i could find one at a dealer i would get it, they are hard to come by

My dealer can get me one. Just under $1000. Took mine to a couple different diesel/tractor mechanics to look at and they told me to have it resurfaced and put it back in the tractor so thats what i did. Said the cracks being as small as they were wouldnt bother anything.
