Hi:

What is the main differences between these two machines. Is one an upgrade or are they completely different.

I am not familiar with the IH units and would like to learn more before buying one. Both will be sold shortly.

Thanks

If the 175 you mentioned is the self propelled machine, with Wisconsin motor, and made in the late 60s we have one. If in good working condition its a good machine, but transmission parts are not available except from a parts machine. The 175 we have broke two planetary drive shafts so far. They have a defect and tend to break with age. Its on the last transmission we have. We're thinking it may be possible to replace the transmission with hydraulic motors if we break another one. The 201 has the same transmission, but with an IHC 4 cyl. motor. I'm not familiar with the 210.

I forgot to mention, if you go to the Implement Photos section on this site there are pictures of the IH 175 and 201 windrowers. Type in 175 or 201 in Search for: and they will come up.

Hi:

Ok, so basically the same machine with some minor changes.

Thanks for the pictures and your thoughts.
