460 Framall (1967?)

Have a 460 that just went up for sale locally. Rubber is about 90%, rims have been repaired/welded. Has CC in them now. Paint is nice and seems to run good. Guy is asking $2900 but will work with me if I'm interested. Anyone know what something like this goes for? Thinking of offering him $2400. What do you think? Thanks! Damn...I mean FARMALL in the title. Won't let me edit the subject line. Sorry.....

these are built from 1958 to 1963.

It's gas. Looked at it again this evening. In better shape than I thought. Main reason for purchase is to run a Bush Hog on 60 acres in Southern Il.. Should handle it well I would think.

I bought mine last fall at a farm sale auction. It was a 1 owner tractor, had good paint, nf, ps, fast hitch, updated seat, ta working, rubber at 50%, i paid $2,600 for it, i thought it was maybe a little high but since it was an origional owner and it had a story it was well worth it to me. The only real complaint i have of it is the rear mounting of it sucks as far as i'm concerned, wish they would have made it a side entry but at the time rear entry was still the thing at Farmall.
