424 Diesel power steering?

I would like to add power steering to my 424 diesel tractor. Has anyone done this? Any info would help. It may not be cost effective. I would also like to add a loader too.

My 424 diesel has aftermarket power steering, torque generator style, fed from a flow divider after the main pump. (Done before I got it.) It's never steering easy/smoothly and I've never taken the time to check pressure and flow and also the condition of the steering gear, so I don't know what the problem is. If I had the spare $$$, I'd get a factory PS front-end from a salvage yard.
