IH 200 manure spreader -finished, PICTURES!

Well i finished restoring my 200 manure spreader on sunday night. All that is left is a new wood floor and putting the apron back in. i completely tore it down and painted parts individually. I also put new sheetmetal in the sides and new tires on. Here are some pictures, enjoy!

Nice, I'm doing an Allis 140s right now. Not nearly as good of job as that because I am going to use it when I am done.

Looks good! Is that a "hog trough" under the seat of the "H" making it a 1939 or early 1940? I've got a '39 H and a model 100 spreader. I have no "fenders" (chain coverings/guards) but am getting fiberglas ones. Ever consider making an endgate to keep the load from dropping out when on the road? It seems reasonably easy, but I wonder about lifting an endgate. . . Thanks for sharing pix. kelly

Real nice job I also restored #2 IH spreaders a No. 100 and No. 200H, that is a horse drawn one but I have a tractor pole on it, I took the dogs out of the wheels so nothing can run for safty reasons, small grand daughters around and they like to ride in them, and at the age of these spreaders, I believe they have done there work and should be preserved for future generations to know about.

Ha you need to keep the women from writing on your truck! That's why I always keep a stick on me to keep em back...unless they're real good lookin. Good job on the spreader

Yep the h is a 1939 with the trough on the tranny. And kevin, i had bought the bearing for one beaters off you last fall.

DANG IT !! Now you are going to have to paint that H to match.......always sumpin!!
Nice job on your " spreader", now you are ready to support the local dignitaries, should make a real nice "float" for the parades.

Where is the IH jack that you could get with that spreader? The older you get the more you will like it and it makes the spreader complete. There should be a picture of it in the back of the operators manual. Other than the missing jack I like your restoration. Use it and enjoy!!! Armand

Very nice restoration, IH built this spreader at the Doncaster work here in the UK and it was sold as the B200 spreader. MJ
