H Ground Speed Tire Size

My H has 13 x 38 ("M" size) tires/rims. I have a chance to get 10 x 38 ("H") tires/rims. Occasionally I pull a pto hay baler. With the 13" tires I use 1st gear and it is tough. Would the 10" slow the ground travel enough to give me appreciably more power? Thanks

Some, but probably not much. Except if your tires are really 13-38's, those are equivalent to 14.9's in the "new" size and you probably will notice a difference. If they are 13.6's, then the old size is 12-38, and the difference is probably minimal. Ideal size for an H is 11/12.4-38.
