Was the gearing in an F20 the same regardless of tire size? I have on with 24" rubber and one with 36" rubber, both on factory spokes (not cutoffs). For example, I know the W4 had a faster ring and pinion than the H to compensate for tire size, otherwise they were the same tractor, other than the sheetmetal, axle housings, ect.

pinion and ring gear are the same.

you couldorder a lower first gear , or a faster fourth gear in the transmission. some were re-geared once in the farmers hands too

I believe all rear end gearing is the same however there different transmissions that were in the f-20. I had 3 different ones myself. So tire size will matter. the 24inch tires are gonna make it lowered gear and the 36inch and 38inch will be higher yet
