New 1256 have a question

I am trying out a 1256. The only thing I can find wrong is a couple of fuel leaks on the injection pump. One is on the injector line for #6 cylinder. I took it loose from the pump and put in new gaskets, and it still leaked. It appears that connections is worn on one side, which could be causing the leak. The other leak is in the bottom middle of the pump wher there is a plug on the engine block side and a cap on the side facing out. Does this sound like something expensive to fix or fairly simple for me or a pump shop to fix. I assume that I will need to get a new line for #6 cylinder to fix that leak. Any help will be appreciated.

I had my 806 rebuilt last year for 600.00. It was leaking on the side like you described. Area Diesel Service in Des Moines Ia did the job. Have had no problems, works great. If you take the pump off yourself be sure to wire the throtle back wide open brfore removing.
