I am trying to remove clutch from 1948 M.I have the instructions from the vintage ads,but they appear to be for a super M with disk brakes. I have removed the drum cover and every part up to the fiber disk, but cannot how to remove the disks. Any help appreciated.

I can see the disk and there is a lot of corision around the teeth. The fiber disk looks good ,oil soaked probably. I was going to put some bolts from the outer assembly thru the disks to lock it up. My problem was that I could not keep the nut from looosing up, it just breaks the washer with the tip on that goes in the slot. I do have a new bearing in it, the old one was real bad. Thanks

Seth , I have a m&w pto kit for an H and there are no fiber disc with it , is someone finally making them ? last I looked you could only get them for a M
