altenator ???

I found a altenator from a 93' 3500 deisel and im looking to put it on a 12 volt conversion for an H. On the terminals on the back there is a P term, a F term, and a bat term. There are no # on the terminals. Will this alt. work and which terminal is the # 1? Thanks Adam

You need to first confirm that you can make it fit under the hood of an H. My guess is that it will not.

F sounds like the field terminal. Did this have an external regulator?

We (many of us) do not have new!!! tractors. Alternator brand would help, many are internationally sourced. The best advice would be to look at the wiring diageam from that tractor. Jim
