Farmall 200 Touch Control Boots

I am rebuilding a touch control unit on a '56 Farmall 200. I have been reading the archives regarding the old super c leather boots and the newer rubber boots for the control valves and the pistons.

It is my understanding that the piston boots and the control valve boots are different sizes on a super c. However, when I look at the parts book for the 200, the part number listed is 364832r1 for both.

Are both boots really the same size? If so, it seems that the piston boot would need to go inside the piston sleeve around the connecting rod rather than around the entire piston like the old leather boots. Does this mean that there is no boot around entire piston on the 200? Any insight is appreciated.

Leather boots for the pistons and rubber boots for the control valves are still available from Case IH, I have new ones on my Super A. They have the same numbers as the ones that were replaced on the 200. You might also look at the SA/C/SC on CaseIH website and decide for yourself. Apparantly they have a boot that will fit either. The leather one is much longer and bigger in diameter.
