blue paint for super a cultivators

I am restoring my greatgrand dads farmall super A that he bought new and am needing the blue for the implements I like rustoliem paint but not sure what color it is I have seen dark blue and lihgt blue but I think it is to be dark blue but not sure any help is useful

Look for a VAN SICKLE dealer they have the I-H Blue.You could use the Ford Blue from Rust Oleum its pretty close.

Go with the Ford blue it will be the cheapest if you are not concerned with 100% correct.

Gene, I have painted a plow for my C once Ford blue. I found that it was way too "sky blue" for the IH blue. The regular paints in a navy blue are closer to what I have seen on NOS plow shares and moldboards I have bought over the years.

I used krylon "true blue" on my Cub cultivators. Looks good to me.

Painting implements was low priority at IH in days gone by. Not wanting to waste anything they would mix left over paint together and go on painting. So, the correct color is the one you like best.

Ace Hardware has IH Blue which is the correct color - I was surprised to see it there when I painted the cultivators on my 230.
