I'm thinking about converting my Super A to a 3 Pt. hitch. Does anyone have any recommendations on what kit to purchase. I've seen that there are a few out there, but was wondering which one was the best. Thanks

Oh maybe it's just the same one that is sold through a couple of different websites. Has anyone ever used the worksaver and if so what is your opinion on it. Do you think it is worth it. My original idea was to get a 3 pt hitch so that I could also use the tractor with a finishing mower and also a rototiller. But after doing some reading I'm not sure if the Super A could be used for either. Its just a shame that I have this great tractor and only use it a few times a year for making rows in the garden. I'm trying to find ways to use the tractor more in order to justify having it. Thanks for the info.

Super A is easy to put 3-pt on. If you have the rock shaft on just add 2 adjustable lift arms that attach to lower lift arms (use N series or Ferguson). Mount the arms to the upper holes
just above the drawbar mounting. Clamp a upper link (make a device to accept the top link) holder to the works for rotary mowers, spin spreader, blade, carriers and more.

The 140 is a great tractor and will be more useful to you with a three point hitch. I have been using a Worksaver hitch for 20 years on mine with great success. You won"t be running a rototiller on this tractor as the lowest speed is way too fast. However, a five foot rotary mower is a good match. You can get most any implement with a fast hitch if you work at it, but the three point allows you to use any standard implement.
