Hello I just found a sweet deal on a tractor that just came up for from an individual whom is giving me an exclusive offer on this tractor. It is a 1974 Farmall 766 Diesel with the works. This tractor has the factory cab with all original uphostery and everything working(lights, tape deck,ac,etc. Also it was equipped with a MFWD that is in perfect conditon with no signs of wear. The tractor also has the IH 2350 Mount-o-Matic front end loader on it with the original 72" manure bucket and 84" material bucket for it. I was also told that there is a set of 18-4-34 clamp on duals for it as well. I was wondering since the tractor is original but shed kept all these years what it is worth because the gentleman told me to make him an offer what this trctor might be worth. I know 766 Farmalls are rare but this once in a lifetime opportunity will most likely never happen twice as some farmers have never even seen a 766 let alone actually own one. Any advice with pricing would be greatly appreciated, thanks

I have seen good 2 wheel drives bring $8500.

The FWD is worth another $5000.

The loader and duals another $4000.

Seems high I know but try and buy a new one set up the same for $18000.

I think around 4-6k hours are on it I can't remember exactly although I think that is still reasonably low for a tractor of its age.

I would think 12,000 would be a fair offer. After all this tractor is close to being 40 years old.I also don't think 766's are all that rare. I know of more than a half dozen within a 40 mile radius of my house. If he doesn't seem interested in 12, than ask him to put a price on it. I allways like the seller to offer the first price. That way i don't insult them with my first offer. Kent

I would agree with the 12000. I've seen many larger tractors with the similar setup go for 13000 to 14000. Theres a 806 or something close on tractorhouse and they want 30000. WAY TO MUCH!

Yes. $18,000 to $20,000

I"d offer around 12-15 for depending on the shape, now for some info on the 766D"s they never were offered fron the factory as a MFD, why I don"t know, not sure which model fwd it has but it was addeed later. other than that sounds like a great find if you can and will I"d like the serial Number and location info as I"ve started a data base of numbers for the 766"s, my emial is [email protected] thank in advance David
