510 drill paint?

I have a quick question about the white paint on a 510 grain drill. Should it be bright white or off-white(wheels, lid, opener supports). I am cleaning one up at the moment and having a hard time deciding which it should be based on what is left on it.

Well if it were me i would use the off white and the 2150 red ,i think that was the original colour IH used. Erik..

i have one we bought new, i belive the white is a bright white, however the rims are off white.

That is what is puzzling me. The rims where they were up against the hubs look to be bright white, but on the outside where exposed to weather they are yellowed. The lid seems off white on the inside, and brighter on the outside.

It hasn't been repainted... Maybe the rims came to IH painted with a different paint that weathered differently?

I bought a late model one new with press wheels and would say a bright white on all white parts, although they all seemed to fade to a duller white over time.

510 drill paint?
