Farmall 300 rowcrop

I"d like to put power steering in my 300. Will the old Behlen units fit? Seems tight but don"t have the tractor available right now to look over. Also is it better to go with a seperate pump for the steering or tap into the live hydraulics?

The factory units were Behlen units. If you have a donor tractor, I would use all stock parts. If you don't you could use a pump from a car or truck, but you would have to do some blacksmith work.

A seperate P. S. pump is the only/best way to go if at all possible. It might take a little longer to install but will be a lot less trouble in the long run. Armand
