I peeked in the parts book for info regarding mounting wheel weights on my 340 and 460 tractors. For the front weights, wouldn't it have made sense to use; but it isn't listed, lock washers or jam nuts as I see used for the rear (mine are one piece) weights? Which now makes me wonder why the use of lock washers AND jam nuts for those rears? OR - in those days they called them typesetters - the person took a coffee break, came back and forgot to add the line about lock washers/jam nuts for the fronts. As Farmallhal might say, I like mine original.

Enjoy your day folks and Merry Christmas![/color:0100ee6147]

If the farmall type tractor the 560 parts book same attachment doesn't show lock washers for the front also. On the rear the thinner jam nuts were used one to a bolt with lock washer. Strange ,my 460-560 parts books only list the split rear weights for a farmall.
