Farmall 460 Brakes

I have a farmall 460 gas motor, tricycle front end that has some brake issues. When driving the brakes will grab without pressing the pedal. Sometimes they wont release and you have to back up to get the brakes to release. It seems like it happens more when the tractor is hot. How do I fix this?

You need to take them apart. There is probably a lot of brake dust. Couple of possible problems - there is a roller ball in them as part of the mechanism that can get dirty or rusted and won't roll. Could have one or more broken springs. I would take them a part, clean everything and when I put mine back together I put sone antisize on the balls. Parts are available.

Do not put anything on the balls.It will collect dirt and get sticky,but do take them apart and see what the problem is.
