450D blowing water out from under hood

Topped off the radiator of my 450D with some fresh anti-freeze yesterday and started it up and let it run for a few minutes. After running about 5 minutes, a good amount of water started spraying out of the left side of the tractor. I shut off the tractor and looked in the radiator. It didn't appear to be overfull. Any ideas?

The radiator needs to be filled to 2" down from the cap gasket seat. If more full than this it will puke out the excess. If it puked, and there is still (about that amount of coolant, all is well. If it was at that level to begin with (2" down) and it puked, it might be in need of repair. I assume though you topped it off filling it up as you would a newer car. These have no expansion tank, the expansion is in the top tank, and needs to be as low as I indicated. Jim
