Fenders for a 1951 M Farmall

The owner of the above mentioned tractor and I have been discussing fender extentions for a 1951 M Farmall. Both of us have looked in the service/parts manual and have only found the spacers needed for the fenders. Is there any such item as fender extentions for the above 1951 M Farmall.

Just the spacers are shown in my M parts book (1948). Maybe a later revision would show the extensions?

Several aftermarket parts companies have been selling the extensions for decades. It"s just a flat plate of steel with 10 holes in it. At least one sold them with 8 holes in them.

These may have been listed in IH dealer parts merchandiser catalogs. The square tooth throttle for H"s and M"s is another example of an item that isn"t in the parts book, but are hidden in these parts merchandisers.

There were some extensions with different lengths to clear different types of machinery. I know there is a factory one with just 6 holes, I think it was for use with a cultivator. It may have been for the later 300-450 tractors, though. I just can"t remember what model. It was shown in the cultivator parts book, not the tractor parts book.
