Setting for points International H 1943

Runs on 2 cylinders after setting for 5 years at
that time the engine was overhauled and the
distributer rebuilt. It was converted to 12
volts,plugs are good points are good. Is .020 ok
for setting points? Compression is even at 65 psi
Thanks for any suggestions offered

That point setting is fine. Make sure two of your plug wires aren't crossed on the distributor cap. Should be in this firing order: Hal

4-3 Rotor rotates CW

.020 for battery ignition, .013 for magneto.
