WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN A FARMALL B AND A BN FARMALL..ALSO DID THE BN COME WITH A WIDE FRONT END..THANKS IN ADVANCE..

Well the B is very wide and the BN is a tad bit narrower in the rear. Both only came with a trike front but the front off an A will both on to them but would not really look right

The Farmall BN is 8 inches narrower than the Farmall B. treads 56 to 84 inches as against 64 to 92 inches. There was a Farmall BN sold at an auction just North of Christchurch, NZ 3 weeks ago that had a Farmall A front end on it. Looked quite an interesting combination. Sorry I did not have my camera. The Farmall A front end has available treads of 44 to 64 inches so will work in both Farmall BN and B cases but will have to have maximum tread to work with the B but 3 different treads available to match the BN. A Farmall C front axle might give a greater range of available treads.

Athol Carr is correct. 8 inches of rear width.

It is accomplished by the differential shafts on the BN being 4 inches shorter on each side. 22 inches each side on the B, 18 inches on the BN. Either could have a single or dual wheel front end.

No BN came from the factory with a wide front end.
