Hello. I have a 1945 Farmall A that I want to put a Heat Indicator on. My question is were does this go? Says I need a bracket? Please let me know. Pics would be Great THANKS

You need the lower outlet that has a plug on the housing for the sender to screw into then you need the bracket that mounts on the gov housing for the guage to mount. You wont be getting any reading on the guage unless you have shutters to get the engine warm as the return water in that system will be too cool for the guage to read. The tractors were made that way to get engine warm enough to switch from gas to the kerosene and you needed shutters to get coolant warm enough for the guage to read. Without shutters you wont get the engine warm enough for a reading. Now if you put the sender in the upper housing you will get a reading as thats where the warmest coolant is.So dont expect to get a reading with sender in the lower housing.
