I've got 'em on my 686 (same sized tractor).

Other than look a little weird, they work just fine. Long ways up to that step, but they really stride out and cover some real estate.

I put 16-9-38 on my 560 gas and it looks good rides better with the taller side walls than the 15-5-38 did, picked up about 3 miles per hour in road gear that is realy helpful when going field to field or on tractor rides, will run at about 20 mph now.

Not too big in my opinion. Like stated, make sure you put them on big enough rims or they will look goofy. I pull against a guy with a 560d with 18.4 SATIIs. It looks really good.

If you are pulling farm implements remember that the taller tires increase ground speed, thus pulling power is reduced. Lot of people use larger tires because they think they look better. Best to stay with factory sizes.

You're fine...just make sure your local class rules don't restrict tire size for the classes you want to compete in...I'm limited to 13.6 x 38 on my Super M, stock class
