OT: Skeeters

I Know this isn't about Red Iron, but hey, Go to the Experts Right??? For you guys that have'em. How do you keep the skeeter larve out of your Stock Tanks/ Water troughs????

We've just started pouring some canola oil on top of the water in our horse water tanks. The theory is that the oil floats on the water and drowns/smothers the larvae. We haven't yet evaluated how well it works.

Believe it or not, we keep goldfish in them. The little guys they sell to feed bigger fish. If you use a stock tank heater in the winter they will survive to fight another year.
