A Cultivator Manual

Bought a front cultivator recently for my A. Where or who has a manual that will show how the control levers are mounted? Lots of tractor manuals but can't seem to find implements. The cultivator has two grease fittings on each side and the bars that the shanks fit on are square.

If you goto Case IH's parts site and search on "cultivator" you may be able to narrow down what you have. I'd start with the model 144 "cotton cultivator"...

You shouldnt have control levers on the cultivators unless you dont have a touch control on the tractor then i guess the levers would be the ones you raise and lower the cultivators with. I have a book on the 144 cultivator but that would be for the tractors with touch control. If you just need a picture of the cultivators on the tractor i can send you one .Erik..

If you can not find anything the other ways mentioned, post a request for pics, I took several on Cubs, As and Super As at RPRU two weeks ago, I would post 1 or 2 now, but I,m at work.

You might get more help if you posted pictures of what you have, rather than asking people to guess what you might have and posting pictures for you to pick from. There are no doubt several people that can recognize what you have, even if they don't have a picture of one themselves.

If you tooling bars are square that is not a cult for the A. The square ones mounted on the SA and models up like 100 and so on. Your cult has the frame for lift arms that were used one the SA.The models for the A wereA-134,A-136-A-138 and the A-437 veggie model. Defferent models used different lift levers. I could send you a pic of my 138.

Tried to send you an e-mail but the site wont let it go so you need to send me your e-mail adress so i can send pics.
