How much gear oil goes in the belt pulley gear box on a 300? And do I fill the ta and rearend housings to the check plugs on the left hand side?

There is a shelf in the belt pulley that allows excess oil to go the transmission. You could fill everything but the engine, hydraulics, and IPTO rear unit from there. Unless you have a barrel pump, it will be easier to empty the 10 gallons of Hy-Tran into the filler hole on the rear frame cover. If you are not going to use the belt pulley in the near future, oil will eventually splash onto the shelf and it will self-fill.

The center section and rear frame are connected by unshielded bearings. Oil will pass from one to the other. Yeah, there are two level plugs but I don't know why. There are also three drain plugs. Drain all three.

The IPTO has its own level and fill plugs.
