No. 37 disk parts

Have a 10 ft #37 disk that I bought at an auction a few years ago thinking about restoring for show but there was some weld repairs made and a few missing parts and all the blades are worn out. Thinking a 8 footer would be easier to take to shows so I was thinking about saving the good parts off the disk and scrapping the broken and welded parts. What parts are interchangeable with a 8 footer. The disk is around 10ft from outer edge of the frame. The gangs stick out another foot or two i believe. Thanks, andy

Those discs are so simple, I'd think a mildly talented fabricator could make most of the parts. I have a 10' and it is a pain to haul very far. I saw one that had been modified so the tongue frame was hinged right at the front of the disc frame, which would make it narrow enough to haul down the highway, if loaded on the trailer sideways. I may do that with mine, if it ever looks like I'll be moving it farther than just around the valley here.
