Super A loose hydralic levers

The hydralic levers on my Grandfather's Super A are loose and wont stay in the up position anymore. They just fall down and you have to hold them up. I looked for a way to tighten them but I couldn't find anything. What do I need to do? Thanks for your help!

If you will take off the half round metal pieces that cover the spring loaded lever and then you can see the springs and double nuts. You can then tighten them to give you the tension so they will hold. Mnay times the levers are so rusted up they wont move good Those covers will slip off easy.

There are those Fibre disk too (bewtween the lever and the base. My controls are held in by small cotter pins along with the washers and spring.
