shifting gears on 756

756 TA I have noticed that if TA is in foward position gear shifter is real hard to move.TA in rear position works fine. Is there an adjustment I need to make somewhere. Maybe clutch dump valve?

Yes, you need to adjust dump valve. It should pull out nearly as far as it can come out of mcv when you depress clutch. Best way to adjust is have red trans oil pressure light working. It should come on when clutch is depressed and go out just a bit before tractor starts to move when engaging main clutch. It is remotly possible clutch discs in direct drive are worn smooth and won't readily release but by having it in TA you spin them loose making it shift easier.
