560 WFE Conv. What else do I need?

I got a great deal on the main portion of an adjustable 856 WFE. Center Tube with extensions and tie rods. I know I need the spindles with hubs for the wheels, but what else do I need to bolt it up to my 560?

This is the link to the CIH diagram. If you have any problems with it, its under 856-Steering Mechanism-J-17. This is the diagram of everything I got.

Thanks in advance,

Matt

The link doesn't work because the CaseIH parts website uses cookies, and the sessions time out after 30 minutes.

Anyway, if all you have is what you list, then getting the rest of the parts to make it complete is not going to be economically feasible. There's a reason why this was such a great deal and why all these parts are missing: You're missing all the expensive parts. Someone cannibalized it for the good parts to fix their front end, then sold the leftover scrap that nobody ever needs to you. I hope you didn't pay much.

I don't know what the diagram shows, but you need the mount that bolts to the tractor's frame. You also need a second mount for the wishbone brace, which bolts up to the frame just ahead of the oil pan.

You also need the pitman arm that bolts to the plate where the narrow front pedestal was.

The spindles will cost just under $200 each and the hubs will be right at $100 each, and then you still need the spindle bushings and the spindle thrust bearings.

A brand new heavy duty Schwartz, complete and ready to bolt on is priced right at $1.300.

It won't let me upload the picture from CIH, but I'll be glad to email you the photo and the photos of everything else I already have. I only paid $150. I can resell the tube and tie rods for more than that.

I have the bolster , and the hubs. From what I can tell, on this version, 856 J-15 on the CIH part look up, of the Farmall HD adjustable WFE, this is what I'm missing. I'm just trying to be as certain, as possible, before I start taking things apart and realize it's going to be a week or two before I get the missing parts.

As many of you have previously attested, it's easier to show the wife what a great deal I got, and nickel and dime the parts orders versus explaining the $1300 outright for a new WFE. If momma ain't happy, nobody is. And, if I have to make it up, which I will anyway, I can't work on my tractor if I'm painting and remodelling.

Thanks Again,

Matt
