BN Positive or Negative Ground

Hooking up a generator on the BN ( it was missing)
Did they come as positive or negative ground.?

They came from the factory as 6v positive ground.

Only practical difference between one or the other, once you've polarized the generator, is which side of the ammeter the wires hook up to so that it reads correctly when charging.

better check the regulator to see which polarity it needs as they are usually marked. Generator doesent care but the reg sure does.
