Sure miss Hugh's dependability, as well as his wealth of knowledge.

I've made several posts about my recent overhaul of the Touch Control block that is not working "perfectly", and I'm getting no suggestions as to how to correct the problem .

Anybody know how to email Hugh ??????????

Many of us would like to talk to Hugh and other dearly departed friends but we can't as they have went to a better place...... Where the tractors never break down.

Try asking again--just putting mine back together. What are you having problems with? Don't remember seeing your posts, except for the archives.

I speak for most if not all us us. We miss Mr. Hugh McKay. He went to a better place than the land of external_link. There is still a wealth of knowledge here on YTMAG.com. I am sure others will post there info as they read your post. I have learned, the most knowledgeable may not read here daily. Also, they may skim by headings only. Mr. McKay seemed to read all posts. He was a very big IH fan. RIP Hugh.

Over the years Hugh was a big help with our SA restoration, he was a wonderful resource. A few years ago I purchased his plans for making a three point hitch set up for our tractor. I never had a chance to fabricate it while he was still alive, he often asked why I hadn't emailed him asking for help to build it.

I finally started making it this week in preparation for this year's garden. Well, his plans are well designed and easy to follow, he did a great job with the drawings and I'm not sure I would have need his help building it. I do miss his knowledge about anything IHC.

couv; I do too. Thanks a bunch for this post. I have been thinking about, as a family member posted - "Hughie", for several weeks as the postings have been rather few and not the amount of replies to threads. Topics such as 140"s and Super A;s and other off-set tractors along with other posts have been lacking Hugh"s opinionated, insightful and personal experience contributions. As was stated, the archives are full of information and a great source of knowledge. A note that may raise the ire of some, but the sloppy spelling and not putting some thought into the "Subject" of a posting renders many posts useless when it comes to knowledge sharing/searching of the archives, let alone just perusing the forum. A "Subject" of "Help" or "tractor doesn"t start" won"t yield a poster the attention they want and the archives...well, it is just a waste. That rascally...sometimes crusty, yet down to earth white-headed Canadian is really missed. I hope Hugh"s off-set Farmall"s got to plow some wonderful Canadian snow this past winter!

Where Hugh is, there is no email.....But we all will see him one day!

Im sure he answered your questions a hundered or more times on here, so if youll search the archives you should find what you need!

Ive asked a couple of times, and I know several others have too, to put his name on the Memorial Page, but it hasnt happened yet. I have so many wonderful things to say about Hugh, and Im sure others who knew him more personally than I did would have plenty to say about him as well.
